Our values
These principles guide how we build the platform, handle personal information and govern its use.
Democracy is for everyone
Writing to a representative should not require insider knowledge, professional political experience or expensive representation. We design PoliPost so a first-time participant can make their case clearly, in either official language.
Authenticity over volume
We amplify real supporters; we refuse to manufacture them. Each letter must come from a real person and be reviewed and approved by that person before it is sent. Near-duplicate letters are flagged for review, not celebrated.
Nonpartisan by design
PoliPost does not favour a party, ideology or political position. Political neutrality does not mean an absence of standards: the same rules apply regardless of the customer, cause or viewpoint.
Both official languages, from the start
French is designed alongside English, not added afterward. Canadian French, plain language and equivalent experiences in both official languages are product requirements.
Privacy by default
We collect what the service needs and limit disclosure to what each workflow requires. We do not sell personal information or use supporter data to build advertising profiles. Our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement set out the details.
AI assists; humans decide
AI can help find information, organize evidence and draft language, but judgment and approval remain human responsibilities. It should help people express their views, never invent them.
Clear standards, applied consistently
PoliPost must not be used to fabricate identities, impersonate others, harass people or support unlawful, deceptive or hateful activity. We may suspend or terminate accounts that cross those lines under our Terms of Service. We will not lower the standard to preserve a customer relationship.
